CHARLOTTE
I love how these photos turned out. The goal was to photograph a rider on a horse in front of a canvas. That means a studio scene, but on location. To get the horses used to the flashes, we took a few photos off the horse. Fortunately, we did. Towards evening in the barn, the light came through the skylights nicely and created that beautiful light on Charlotte. We took the opportunity to take a few shots in natural light without flash - which produced some of the best shots of this day.
Everything was photographed with a Nikon Z7, mainly with the 50mm 1.8 and also with the 24-70 zoom. The shots for the background were taken at f8, the shots in natural light at 1.8 to blur the background.
